at school we partner with pencils of promise to help build schools in ghana, laos  and Guatemala because we firmly believe that everyone deserves access to a quality education.

this august we raised $1,000 for our partner to help build schools. how did we do it?

At cu, every student is required to purchase a clicker to bring to class that tracks attendance and participation.  once a student graduates they are no longer in need of a clicker. at the end of the year School collects old clickers, refurbishes them and resells them to new students in the fall (for half the price as the bookstore!) so that  kids across the world can earn the quality education they deserve.
